Ancient imitations in the time of Constantine

    Valentinian,

    Thanks for your explanation, I know the site well and have already learned a lot from it.
    I have the coins of Valentinian III myself (see below).
    Perhaps I used the wrong wording on the last piece ( no. 7 ), not fleur de lis, but the turrets are more like the ( upside down ) hilt of a sword. Which I have never seen in this form. Therefore, I suspect it may even be much later in date. Until the 10th or 12th century. But we'll probably never find out.

    Finally, a piece (presumably imitated mint Siscia) with no less than 7 turrets. Where did the engraver get his inspiration?
