Latest addition is a Hadrian Tetradrachm that I liked. Its toned nearly black so it was hard to take photos of. Hadrian (117 - 138 A.D.) Billon Tetradrachm O: Laureate head right, crescent under chin. R: LV, Dikaiosyne (Aequitas) standing left, peplos draped over right arm, holding scales and cornucopiae. Alexandria mint Year 6 = 121-122 AD 12.1g 22mm Milne 1003 Scarce
That's a sweet, new, black billon Tet ya got there!! (congrats) ... cool photo (the coin almost looks bluey-purple)
Very nice coin! That's about the best I can do with black coins as well - tweak the pics until they show the detail, and never mind about the color.
