Good times. It was fun looking through your coins and chowin' down on some deep dish pizza. I think the waitress thought we were out of our mind. She did compliment your collection though... girls love coins. Just ask my wife. :D

I don't know, that kind of looks like Baby Trump to me.:p

Just kidding. That is a fantastic picture. The bakelite phone is a nice touch. It's amazing how time flies, is it not?

Yours trully in Santa Clara, Cuba at the age of 7. If the photo looks like it was taken in the 1950s instead of 1992, well, it was a cheap Soviet Union camera and cheap Soviet film. No aspirational capitalist Canon or Sony cameras in Cuba at that time, so we made do with what we had

Yours trully (aged 10) at the U.S. Naval Base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, on December 23, 1995 (shortly before being flown to the US the next day).

    Not that far back...

My daughter has always been taking very good and interesting pictures (she's the author of the "Napoleon" one too). In april 2013 we were on a family trip in Sicilia. On a sunny evening in Noto, we were sat at a bar terrace, sipping a beer and playing cards when she saw my shadow on the nearest wall and shot the following pic of "me" and her mum

Next week my Roman reenactment group will be going back to the ROM for "Roman Day". Here I am a few years ago as a 1st century Signifer... This year I may do a Southern Italian Brettian from the 2nd Punic war.

Ken Dorney Yea, I'm Cool That Way...

Well, I had grand plans of competing with our very own 'bearded one' (I leave that up to those who dont know him and search for older threads). Alas, I tried to trim my beard and it went very badly. I had to shave it all off! Lessons learned. But I did take one desktop photo halfway through. Now I have to start all over! I am hesitant. Will be going to Europe in two months and as things are as they are in this day and age I dont resemble my passport photo much.

Gads. When did I become old? I still feel like I'm 20. Maybe I became old when I used the word 'gads'.
