Nice @randygeki , I have the G17, 26, 21, 30S, hogue grips, and bayonet for funsies - but not in that cool dayglo! Tricked out the sights (tritium and filaments), slide release, triggers, plungers, etc. etc.
Me tooting my own horn: And here is a picture of the smallest ban liang I own, at least out of the 58 of them in my collection. And each are different enough to not be considered duplicates. Size is 4-5mm and weight is <0.05g. My scale didn't have the resolution to be any more accurate.
Thanks to the later postings I now have 35-1/2 [1/2=TIF] in my gallery of forum members. The photos with older parents make me nostalgic. My father died at the age of 87 in 2005 and my mom at 90 in 2013. I'm thankful to have had them with me so long, but I miss them every day......
You were lucky to have them with you for so long. My father was born in 1908 and died in 1984 when I was only 35 years old. My mother was born in 1914 and died in 1998. I wish I could have spent more time with both.
I consider anyone who had their parents in to adulthood to be very fortunate. I wish I was afforded such a blessing.
I was fortunate, we have longevity. I was 52 when one of my Grandmothers passed, and 53 when one of my Grandfathers passed. They had celebrated 77 years of marriage together. We celebrated their 75th Wedding Anniversary with a huge family gathering. Other Grandparents passed in their late 80's and late 90's. My wife had a grandfather who passed at 103.
You lost your parents before adulthood? Oh Nate, I'm so sorry. I still have my mother and don't think I'll ever be prepared for her death. We talk every day.
I agree with TIF's sentiments. However, you seem to have done well. And little noob is growing like a weed.
Better than most, not as good as some. Evan is getting bigger everyday - Hopefully in 20 yrs you will see him at some huge auction, paddling his Daddy something bananas.
NICE on those Athenians!!! LOVE the descending scale and size...very cool. LOL, I gotta ask, why would even THINK of hangin' with the @Ancientnoob guy... Kiddin': he ain't too bad. I'll associate with him.
<------------ That's me The photo was done to be used in an advertisement for the Battlefield Coin Show Here is the 1st coin we had made for the show
No exaggerated late 19th century beards. Clearly fake Just kidding! Cool photo! If it was only the photo posted I would probably have been convinced it really was from that time (but touched up). I wouldn't mind having myself photographed like this one day.
