I wonder if I would still be able to post tomorrow if I called my wife my "Pet". Actually, I'm the one treated like the "bad puppy" that just did his business on the floor.

It was not the posting of guns as such, but the political comments that ran in the same post which I removed. It was the comments that got it removed. Everybody has a face, and most likely an ancient coin on here, so they are perfectly acceptable on an ancient coin forum. All posts that are edited or removed are recorded by the software, so that all mods and administrators can review them, so they only disappear from members view. So complaints as to what or was not in a post is still on record. Please note that if you write or post material that is not allowed, and then edit it later, all editions are retained, so do not immediately post it until you re-read. Thanks to all who try to maintain a quality thread for others to enjoy in future years.

In the north of England "Pet" is a term of endearment.

Yeah, I'm surprised it made 10 pages in less than 24 hours. I don't think it will be one of the longest threads we have in the ancients section but probably one of the longer ones for sure.

Hey pal, this is family-friendly forum. You keep your kinky business to yourself.

Hey VK: If I looked half as good as a guy as @TIF does even with a fake crab on her head I'd post a pic. But alas, that's not the case.

Here's a picture of @stevex6 that he probably didn't realise existed.

For reasons I can't presently recall, this little daredevil was christened stevex6 some time ago and it stuck. My son, wife and I all refer to him by that name now. It's true, Steve, you're a legend in our house! :D

Would still be nice to put a face to the name, but if you don't want to that's cool too :)

It is here as well, but of course it depends on how it's used.

This is actually another reason why I like the ancients forum - we don't tend to have massive posts that people keep writing in. Each of our coins are unique and gave their own story worthy of their own post. I was tempted once to start a 'newest acquisition' thread, but if that caught on then all the interesting and diverse posts would stop...

@Hispanicus, are you a woodworker? Is that a vintage Delta drill press? Let's see some of your creations! :)
