Ripley, I have no idea if your's is real or fake, but I trust Martin and Doug to have an eye for these kinds of things. If I were you, I would post my coin over on Forum and ask the question there. I think BP Murphy hangs out there at times. He's the expert. No one wants to hear they have a fake in their collection, but it's better to know and possibly be able to do something about it. If nothing else, it can serve to educate yourself about this type of coin. Good luck my friend.

Wow, there have been a whole lotta cool coins entered since I was last lookin' around!!!

=> maridvnvm (Martin) => always top-notch, with a seemingly endless supply (always well played => my hat is off to you, my friend)

=> Dionysos => man, I honestly think that you have the sweetest coins of all ... plus, you are our "back-bone" to all coin-questions (other than Doug, you are God)

=> dougsmit => "God" ... but at times, a bit of a shy God ... but still the ultimate coin-God (everybody bow!!)

I should also say Dionysos (Batman) also has a good eye for this kind of thing. I would take them at their word or at least take it serious enough to check it out.
