    Thanks @Andres2 for the interesting coin!

    Type count on the reverse - 4 (includes Mercury);
    total type count from both sides - 4 (the human/god species is not counted twice);
    density on the nominated side (reverse) - 0.0053;
    density accounting for both sides (<total count> / <double the surface area>) - 0.0026.

    Wow @Jochen1! This coin may become the winner in the category of the absolute number of species/creatures. Density-wise, the large size of the coin lowers the value as compared to @zumbly entry.

    Type count on the reverse - 9 (including Orpheus);
    total type count from both sides - 9 (the human/god species on the obverse is not counted twice);
    density on the nominated side (reverse) - 0.0131;
    density accounting for both sides (<total count> / <double the surface area>) - 0.0066.

    Thanks @panzerman. In the single species but high density category, for the coin to be a lead, it should be smaller than @Ryro 's entry, which is 3mm in diameter. The last coin, however, is a strong candidate (in another category), with 2 species types on the obverse (eagle and elephant), but small size (10mm in diameter):

    type count on the obverse - 2;
    total type count from both sides - 2;
    density on the nominated side (obverse) - 0.0255;
    density accounting for both sides (<total count> / <double the surface area>) - 0.0127.
