Hello, I recently picked up a coin lot and within the lot there was a subgroup of twenty-two roman coins. Can anyone give me a little bit of information about these? I can send photos via email but please see below. Thanks ahead of time for any information provided.
The photos are hard to see, but the ones I can see are identified correctly [EDIT: the lower right is from Carthage (not "Julia or Zenobia"), which I noted in the next post]. If you want to keep them, that's one thing and members here will help you get into ancient coins. However, if you just want to sell them, put them on eBay with photos of the coins (not in 2x2s) and only that ID (you don't need to describe them in detail) and their sizes (It can hard to tell sizes from good photos. Yours we can tell the sizes from the 2x2s, but they make the photos poorer), then that would suffice. They would sell for about the right price. I don't see any particularly valuable coins there that should go into a serious auction.
Thanks for the information! Can you tell me which are identified correctly? I'm most likely going to keep them and give them out as gifts to some nephews and some of my co workers' kids collect. Just wanted some info first. Thanks, John Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Almost 52 years. Haven't had that first drink yet. Not immune to getting older, unfortunately. I want the wisdom and all that, but give me my 23-year-old body back, please.
