The first is a slim hardcover volume (125 pages) with stories of all the Greek kings and a portrait coin for each. 1937. Very nice condition. I have really enjoyed my copy of this book. An excellent introduction. [$5 SOLD] The second is by C. H. V. Sutherland, keeper of coins at Oxford. It is subtitled 31 BC - AD 68. 220 pages plus 17 page plates. 1951. Good. Some neat underlining on the first 8 pages only. This books tells you what was happening to coins under the Julio-Claudian monetary system.
