At the beginning of this month I had purchased some roman republics that caught my eye. It was an overseas purchase so they finally arrived yesterday. Both have faults but considering how cheap they were, I couldnt pass them up adding them to my collection. Plus the Q. titus is my first pegasus. It also has some nice rainbow toning in hand.

Coins looks worse then they are, my 5x loupe had developed a scratch so I had to use my 10x:mad::mad:

I nearly bought the Petillius Capitolinus. Coins with architectural designs seem to catch the eye. Good purchases. Congrats. :thumb::thumb:

Andrew McCabe said they were good coins, especially with the garlands at least visible.

Some cool addition Mat! I like the Petillius the most, but both are cool.

McCabe knows his stuff for sure.

You know, that is one fat Pegasus> I guess he/she was well fed.

I like those coins. I feel much safer bottom feeding these days, what with all the talk of forgeries and tooling around here.
