It’s very difficult to choose my favorite here; all the coins are very atractive. Perhaps I would choose the Nero’s Arch.
Or Tranquilina...maybe Gordie...
Thanks DR, I'm not sure if I should classify a galley as architecture, but it was to cool to pass up.
Well done @Ancient Aussie
I would be hard pressed choosing one. Maybe the Tranquillina would be my fav
Great coin, there is something about these type of temple coins that is addictive, I for one now are always on the lookout for variations.
Nice coin, a scarcer variety.
Thanks I am glad you liked them.
Some great ancient architecture reverses @Ancient Aussie ! Really like the game and the Nero arch...but all winners!
Awesome coins. I really like that Nero sestertius !
Thanks, love yours with great detail and nice patina.
Wonderful photo and I am so glad that you were able to visit this place... that is something to be thankful for in itself (I suggest an offering to Mars.. or just raise a drink to the old fella).
I am just thankful for the opportunity to bump this thread - the coins are simply amazing!
Another temple Commagene,Zeugma
..philippus1 bmc 29..temple of zeus..
I can't resist the exceptional condition of Roma Temple under Maximian. Among all the remaining coins you knew how to mix jointly or separately the scales of rarity, condition, beauty and desirability. Congrats.. Indeed.
Great coin, one of my favorite provincials.
Thank you for everyone's kind words, comments and coins displayed in this thread. I hope to see more of my CT friends top ten in the next few weeks, they have been fantastic so far.
The Nero Galley is sweet- just get on that ship and sail the seven seas of the ancient world! my favorite.
