    Obv:– IMP CAE L SEP SEV PERT AVG, Laureate head right
    Rev:– LEG I ITAL / TR P COS, Legionary eagle between two standards
    Minted in Rome. A.D. 193
    Reference:– Cohen 257 (citing Wiczay). RIC 3 (Scarce citing Cohen). BMCRE p.21 noted as requiring confirmation (citing Cohen). Only 1 example in RD.

    Rev– P M TR P III COS II P P, Mars walking right holding spear and trophy
    Minted in Rome. A.D. 194
    Reference(s) – BMCRE W113 (Citing an anonymous gift from 1924 from the Plevna hoard same obverse die). RIC IV unlisted (RIC 60 var but draped and cuirassed instead of plain head). RSC 396a (citing BMCRE coin)

    Obv:- L SEPT SEV PE-RT AVG IMP I - I or VII-I, laureate head right
    Rev:- VICTORIA AVGVSTI, Victory advancing left, holding wreath and palm.
    Ancient imitation which apparently copies the style of Laodicea-ad-Mare

    Severus Alexander denarius - Antioch Unlisted reverse - Errored reverse legend
    Obv:– IMP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG, Laureate head right
    Rev:– VIRVS (sic) AVG, Virtus standing right, holding reversed spear and victory

    This reverse type is unlisted from Antioch though a couple of examples are now known of the type. This one also has VIRVS in place of VIRTVS.

    Minted in Rome, A.D. 232

    This was my first ancient coin and is still one of my favourites
