    Obv:– IMP C M AN FLORIANVS P F AVG, Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right
    Rev:– TEMPORVM FELICITAS, Felicitas standing right, holding caduceus and cornucopiae
    Minted in Lugdunum (No marks) Emission 1. Start August A.D. 276
    Reference:– RIC 11 var Bust type C (Not listed without marke in RIC). Cohen 88 (note Cohen lists as Radiate, draped in error). Bastien 124 (12 examples cited)

    Rev:– CONSECRATIO, Funeral pyre; Faustina II atop, riding biga towards
    Minted in Rome. A.D. 176-180
    References:– Cohen 77. BMC 698. RIC 747 (Rated scarce).

    AR Denari ca. 141 AD

    3.15 grams, 16 mm
    Obv: Draped bust of Faustina Senior facing right. DIVA FAUSTINA
    Reverse: Pietas standing sacrificing at altar AVGVSTA
    Grade: aEF coin that is sharp & clear even at the points of highest relief on Faustina’s ear.
    Other: Faustina Sr. was the wife of Antoninus Pius & died in 141 AD. From Fairchester Numismatic Properties, Vincent Blume, August 2013.

    The coin is sitting on a piece of Malachite.

    Diocaesarea, Cilicia, issued this unusual AE28 in the name of Annia Faustina but the honored lady is the one we know as Faustina II. Also unusual is the off centered bust and really flowery thunderbolt.
