Yah, I was cruisin' through the CNG auction and I stumbled across this sweet lil' gem (trash) .... I really didn't have a sweet fourree example, so I jumped and laid-down an initial bid ... ... well, amazingly that sweet bid ran the gauntlet and I escaped with a capital investment of $45 (plus fees) .... this seemed sweet enough for this guy!! => please check out my new animal-coin fourree, my coin friends!! *rats* ... ummm, please check-out the CNG-link (I don't write the stuff, I just assume that Ardy and the CNG boys know their stuff) https://cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=284122 => hey, I have enough homework tonight => NHL hockey (chill and check it out, my mentor)
excellent fouree! i haven't seen one like that before. man, that southern pathologist had some sweet stuff hu? sadly, i don't have a fourree to post. it's on the list.
Oh, hey Doug ... ummm, now that I have your attention => I do have one more possible fourree ... Thrace, Abdera Hermes & Gryphon/Griffin 386-375 BC ... cool, eh? ahhh, I'm so tired (never mind) ... I know that you'll only have more questions that I can't answer (I just want to sleep ... take me to my happy place ... my happy place, my happy place ... zzzzzzz)
There is no doubt that the write up is spot on but after you made the 1..2..3.. fourree line I found it hard to believe you let the fourree fifth thing go by so lightly. There were rather few coins issued in that denomination so not having seen a fifth fourree is hardly enough to give the third degree two one. Hockey? That is the one they play with balls in places warm enough to attract me. How many others here have a coin that once belonged to a NHL owner?
gawd, you're right (man, there was so much potential!!) ... it was a weak attempt on my part, at best (C+) => thanks for keeping me in line
Cool, yes, fourree ---- I can't tell from the photo. I will point out that I bought the coin below from NFA (Bruce McNall who owned the LA Kings) as a fourree but it was just encrusted with leeched copper that I cleaned off leaving the solid silver Vespasian. I bought a group lot of 6 coins described as fourrees but one of them was not. It turns out to be as good a hobby as collecting coins.
Curious? ... again, because I seem to have your attention => $45 (+fees) ... 15% + delivery ... sure, maybe $70? (too much, or about right?) Thanks ... I always appreciate feed-back Cheers
Ummm => Obi Wan look-a-like coincidence? (I think not) => oh, that's a Star Wars thing (just in case you're not a geek and/or you're way too young) ..... just ask Jango!!
