Hello everyone. For my first post I want to discuss ANACS slabs. As most of us know ANACS is one of the top 3 grading services, and they are known for a veteranship in third party grading. I loved how their old slabs look, they have a proffessional style and seem to challenge PCGS and NGC's slabs. Though I want to know your thoughts on ANAC's modern slabs In my opinion these slabs are plain ugly. The curve at the top is something unique, but also makes the slabs look strange. The thing I dislike most however is the color. PCGS has a nice blue tint, and NGC most of the time has a tinted background with (non-distracting) artwork in the background. However ANACS has an unproffessional looking yellow, that definitely doesn't go well with the font. I think this is part of why an ANACS submission is much cheaper than say an NGC or PCGS sub; it also gives reason as to why coins in anacs slabs don't go for as much as the same coin in PCGS or NGC slabs. Thoughts? Should ANACS go back to their old slabs or am I just too picky? Any comments would be appreciated.
