It's only the Business Strike that demands the price in the thousands. The PR-63 Red is a common coin. The MS-63 Red is a rare coin. The wording in the eBay ad say that the MS-65 is worth $13,000 and YES it is. He doesn't state what the PR 63 is worth.  His coin shouldn't sell for more than just a few dollars. I wouldn't pay $50 for the PR-67 and NEVER would I pay $3000 (but that's just me.) I would pay MAJOR cash for a 1955 DDO in MS-65, but I could never afford one. <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie3" alt=":(" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /> Don't let his sale fool you, it's not listed as that rare of a coin in the coin price guides, but at a PR-67, it is a good coin. Ben[/QUOTE]
