Often the base number (That would normally be the invoice number) stays the same and subsequent batches of sample slabs start over again at -001. On the NGC forum Lange said that they all have unique numbers, but we were able to show examples of multiple sample slabs with the same number that had different coins in the holder.</p><p><br /></p><p>You also can't trust the grades printed on the labels on sample slabs.
