Great shots Vess1, Sorry I missed you at the show! I was going to work on posting some of the same shots you posted today. Thanks for putting them up as I know it takes time! Best Regards ~ Darryl
Great presentation, really helped because I was unable to make it. Give this tread some time... There are a lot of reports of shows on here and I read both of yours. Thanks!
Hey, I was hoping to meet you too. Sorry I missed you as well. People were coming and going at different times. Somewhat hard to coordinate at an event this big. I guess we should have all met for lunch over at the concessions at noon or something. Glad everybody liked the pics. It did take some work. Hope I saved you some time! lol I pretty much did all the scouting the first day. Then I knew what I wanted to photograph the second day. Charmy's show report is great too.
Yeah I was looking forward to meeting some of you all too. I was in the museum area just before noon and trying to watch the time and the next thing you know it was about ten after. So I hustled over to Charmys but apparently I was just a little late.
Thought I might add these to the thread: Just a couple shots of the tons of really cool stuff I laid eyes on.
Vess, be a little patient, there were a lot of CT members who went to the show, and many people are just barely getting back from traveling to the show! I loved all your photos, and I do appreciate your taking the time to share them with us - thank you!
Vess, great pictures, I never remember to do that when I'm in coining mode at a show. It would have been great to have attended, but for myself, I am the busiest at work this time of year, so although it may be the BEST show of the year, others during the winter like FUN are for me the most appropriate. Plus, unless I have a grand or two to spend or many coins to sell it doesn't make much since to travel with that much expense to do a coin deal. I was able to bid on and sell a coin on the StacksBowers auctions and that made me feel like I was participating. And it is always helpful to see the massive sea of gold bullion in the world as it helps me know to not get so excited when it is offered for sale, knowing that the right piece at the right price will surely be found down the road. I think those pictures you posted are quite useful to the group....Thanks man, Matt
yea i wasnt aware there was a show last year. i collected then but i never searched for any shows..wish i would have, it looks amazing
