My second day here. A few ancient dealers setup. Each one busy with customers. Quite a bit of money being spent. Lots of high quality Roman denari and ancient gold.

While I don't collect ancients, I enjoy their beauty and history. If I were to start I would try to collect the aes graves coins. They just look like fun. I did look for a few coins for my grandson. There are approximately 10 dealers here that are exclusively ancient dealers some who had a few medieval coins. While some may say that the show is not active, I would draw their attention to the ancient coin dealers.

Aes Grave are interesting, and fun to hold. I like the pieces also. From L to R: semis, 5 sextans & two pieces.
