So I said what the hell, I play slot machines why not pick up an "unsearched roll" from ebay. I've looked at them for years on there mumbling under my breath BS there's no way they are unsearched. I set some rules for myself:

1. Seller MUST have 100% positive feedback.

2. Seller must not sell only rolls.

3. Preferably I find a seller of odds n ends, not just coins.

4. I spend under $100

I picked up an "unsearched roll" of what I thought would be wheat cents.

Some highlights of the roll:

1. I read so many reviews of people having won rolls on ebay and complaining the roll was searched and they got nothing. Ask what your expectations are before you bid. What are the actual chances you will find say a 1909 s vdb lincoln. You can't get disappointed when the roll turns up common dates right? Has anyone ever had good luck with an "unsearched" ebay roll????
Multiples of 1915 and 1915d only. 6. Coins were G to VF the 22 d IMO is a VF. 7. The range of dates made me think this was a start of a collection just rolled up and stored away. Would I do it again?
