my buddy was asking what this note could potentially be worth, and if it is something that they should get graded? any help is appreciated.
Neato! I think flippers carry a little premium but probably not enough to justify sending in to be graded, might be able to sell it for $40-$50 to the right person...
hope this helps, but it doesn't say anything with regard to value. How Cool Is 88669988? Super neat Flipper but only worth what a collector of such cool serial numbers is willing to pay for it IMO. Some will argue that it's not a true flipper because the 8 isn't exactly the same upside down. If you notice carefully the top loop is smaller than the bottom loop.
this site doesn't take into consideration that it reads the same upside down, as right side up though.
when i pointed out to someone about that little detail, they told me that 8's are accepted because on small face notes the loops are the same diameter. someone could not say yes for one, and no for the other. i don't know how accurate that is, but it kinda makes sense.
Very clean and in good condition, as far as value, its only worth what someone else is going to give you for it, to the right collector $$$
