Very good rodeoclown. Chris is an excellent person with a great personality. A character in his own way which most find to be acceptable. Now lets move on and start acting like a funny clown
You mean they actually have forums on Linux? Do they have any on the Lynx, too? Thanks, R/C! Chris Greg, what do you expect me to do with all these bedsheets you wet?
Real men don't shake hands, real men hug! Honestly though, I never had any ill feelings towards Chris, I was aware we just had some miscommunication. Just be aware, I'm very sarcastic so if I accidentally ever offend anyone myself, please try to think first that I'm probably just being a wise crack!
http://linuxquestions.org I resigned as moderator a couple years ago, just got burned out playing never ending patrol. For a site that had that many members, posts, and topics each day, it was almost like a full time job that I wasn't getting paid for.
Oh and sorry about that. I usually leave PM's open but I actually got some spam a few weeks back from some new member so I disabled for now.
I would think that working with animals would be a lot of fun. What does a linux look like anyway? Chris
I can testify that it took 31 hrs to recompile the Linux 0.59 kernel on a 386sx with 2mb of memory ( Hot Machine!!) !! My, time does fly !! Jim
2MB on an SX? Yeah, that was a pretty hot machine. My first machine, a pc jr, had 128k RAM, and no hard drive so had to boot to the OS, (a 5.25 sd, 1 sided), floppy. I remember "gaming" for hours when it consisted of text based games, (monster is getting closer.....closer....closer....monster eats you!)
