My parents bought a bunch of these from a local artist several years ago and gave them to me. I had forgotten all about them until I was cleaning up my coin desk this evening. Each one is struck on a zinc planchet, the same size and weight of a Lincoln cent. The entire Gettysburg Address was then laser engraved in the profile of Lincoln's bust. Kinda cool. Thanks for looking
Very nice! With very minimal use for the Lincoln cent in circulation, I've heard you can sand the back off of a modern Lincoln cent, and produce a makeshift battery. But, this is a much better use!
Only if we don't live in 'zombie times' Mr. Jackson..........now, how about that battery thingy? I might need the techno someday....... Forgive the hijack Furry.........kudos to Mom and Pop for keeping you in mind.
Ah, don't criticize my comments, or, next time I roll a cheese wheel onto the white house lawn, I won't share!
