At 21x face, that works out to around $5735; the auction closed at $5300, plus $35 shipping.</p><p><br /></p><p>I wanted to go in on this one, but it was a little too big a chunk for my nerves.</p><p><br /></p><p>It looks like there were some semi-key Walkers in the lot, but nothing in particularly nice condition. A full set of Franklins (except for 63 and 63d), and lots of &quot;miscellaneous&quot;.</p><p><br /></p><p>Here&#039;s what I liked about the lot:</p><ul> <li>it looks like an &quot;old collection&quot; -- the Franklin album has the last few years hand-written in (!)</li> <li>it included several semi-key dates, with a total still under melt value</li> </ul><p><br /></p><p>Here&#039;s what I didn&#039;t like:</p><ul> <li>it was pretty big (by my standards and budget)</li> <li>the seller has listed valuable single coins previously, so anything really nice had probably been picked</li> </ul><p><br /></p><p>I think the winner got a great deal.
