Just last week at the Baltimore coin show, I picked up these two for exactly $25 each: silver drachm of Sasanian Persia, Khusro II (590-628 AD) and bronze dekanummi of the Byzantine Justin II with Sophia (565-578 AD):

That's a handsome bunch of bargains you have there @Orielensis

My collection consists only of bargains, so I wouldn't know where to begin. But here is a recent find - at $26 it is a buck over the thread's dollar limit, but since it consisted of two coins, I figured it'd count on a per coin basis:

    great thread @Orielensis.
I look at auctions a lot (I am retired and fill a good bit of time this way). When I get ansy, I bid on low priced, neat coins.
I have a few less than $25 and a few more if you do the math right.
This piece of Hacksilver was one of several in an auction. It hammered for $3. The others sold for more.

I bought ram / scale coin for a few hundred dollars for a friend. This one hammered for 25E.
