American Silver Eagles

Im not sure Bazz. I got mine from the mint at issue price, and at $50, thats higher then issue. I could easily be wrong, but i think you should be able to find the Bald eagle oins for cheaper.

As for them being better then the ASE - i dont think they can compare to each other. 1 is a commem and at least for the unc ASE, its purely bullion. 1 has a limited supply minted and sold, the other is minted to meet the publics demand. i am sure you could find an ASE for lots less the a Bald eagle.

so instead - ask yourself... are you interested in the design and history of the Bald Eagle, AND love the design? or are you looking more to stock up on Silver?
