I like the luster of silver a bit better than the clad coins. I especially like the holder. They have set the coins in the holder such that you can see the reeded edge of the coins. No collages of all sorts of different subjects scattered on the face, like so many of the earlier state quarters. I thought the small surface of the quarter would not do justice to panoramic vistas, but they did a nice job. The Yellowstone quarter has a buffalo in the foreground that gives focus to the design. The Mt Hood design is better than I thought.... it progresses from the lake to the forest to the mountain with nice detail and separation between the three different environments. But my favorite design is the Grand Canyon... it shows good perspective with great detail close up and gradually changing scales into the distance. I think this is a good start. I hope the others as just as well executed, or even better. I must admit that I don't know how the 3-inch silver rounds are going to look, but let's see. Anybody else get their set? Steve[/QUOTE]
