    Hello,

I though I create another thread just for "Uncirculated ATB quarters". I've have started the Washington quarters and have met amazing collectors who has mint state set and I'm very fortunate and humble to see that they have shared their amazing collection.

Now my other focus is to acquire ATB quarters and I'm trying to acquire Rolls only from the U.S. Mint. These coins will never be release to the Federal Reserve Banks and only to collectors like me who purchase directly from the US Mint. I have 377 coins so far and my goal also is to acquire as much as I can and these coins will be collected only and the rolls are not going to be open at all.

I hope you can share your ATB Uncirculated quarters and show your pride and joy.

    Happy Collecting.

    Robert

Now they are sealed and will be preserve forever. Man I didnt even bother to opened them. The lady from the US mint told me that the coin rolls for them dont even get touch by hand. The machine even rolls, box and label them. The lady even said that they are better than the bags because they dont get bang, ding and rub against coins in bags.

Sorry, just had to share a very old joke :shy:

How do you store your ATB Quarters? Will you open your PDS rolls?
Oh I see what you did.. Did you vacuum seal them?

I use a foodsaver machine and it sucks the air out and seals them automatically. I've had my $20 British Virgin Island coins for 33 years and they haven't failed a bit. No will not open the rolls. The lady from the U.S. Mint told me that no hand has ever touch them. The machine does the rolls, sort, box and seals them and that they are even better than the bags because the coins in bags rubs and dings each other coin whenever the bag gets moved. This is the most mint as I can get, just direct from them.

I have a few rolls that my dad picked up at the Homestead ATB release down in Beatrice, NE. They are in NF Stings rolls but he got them at the event that was done by the mint.

I like your vaccuum seal method.
Makes me wonder about how it effects toning. No air no toning, right?

Do you have any silver coins vaccuumed sealed?

You are right. No toning of any coins. I have American silver liberty and i had them for since 2014 and never toned. I also have my 1985 british virgin island silver coins for 33 years and they havent change a bit since i got them. This is my old fashion sealer

There is another thread "Silver Dollars" I posted my coins after opening them after being sealed for 10 years. They look the same when I got them 10 years ago.

    Toning is PMD.
    I don't like damaged coins.

I agree. Its damage coin because of exposure to heavy moisture

Mine hang out in a cabinet, not to necessarily tone them, but more so that I don't have to go to an album to see them. I feel that this is more the way a coin was intended, too be viewed, and held.
