America Th Beautiful 5 oz.

I've viewed some of the designs from a website that were being considered for the final coin design and I feel the mint made some poor decisions. There were some very beautiful designs that were passed over for whatever reasons. If I were to purchase one myself (the one I have was a gift) I would choose either the coin representing my home state of Maryland or one that I felt would be the least desired by other collectors, in the hopes it's rarity would pay off in the future. The coin I have is attractive and fairly high quality. The mint has done a very good job with quality. My only complaints are the designs and that the coins obverse seems kind of odd because I'm not used to seeing the Washington quarter obverse so LARGE.. A slightly smaller coin may have turned out much more attractive. Still very please with the coin overall.
