Hmmm, I'm missing wheat cents from that time period.
Have to see if Dansco has an album for them.

    It's Etsy.com
widely known for hobby type buyers and sellers and many widely overpriced/hyped coins.
not exactly anything like Heritage Auctions.

    some truly amazing reviews ...

The contents of the package I rec’d
Was a truly CRUMMY selection. Rec’d lots of dimes in poor condition, 1 good one. 1 quarter NOT old, same as I come across all the time, gold flakes I could get at Micheals!! A lot of wheat pennies in horrible condition, and a bizarre “gold plated” fake $100 bill. I specifically emailed requesting at least one 19th century coin as represented in their Ad,
At the time I placed my order. I’m a senior unable to throw $30 away but that’s what I did. Too disgusted to bother returning the package. It’s as if someone sat there picking out "

After the reviews that have been posted on Etsy by people that have be cheated, ripped off, etc. in their own words it amazing people still but from them.
Maybe the "allure" of the words vintage hoard, estate sale, pictures of coins dumped in piles, etc. has some kind of "magical appeal"?
