Almost complete set of Seated Liberty

The father admitted it all came from Craigs list and that his son was a convicted felon. The father said he was never going to do this again as he too fled leaving behind the Fake Chinese Dollars and flatware. The flatware was as bogus as the coins. </p><p>This was the first complete set of fakes I had ever seen. The 1870 CC was included as well, but I took it out not to look too obvious with the post. However, you guys are too smart to fool, but maybe it will serve to some that these things are all over the place and in full sets, so be careful.</p><p>As and ending note they do not attract a magnet. They weigh what they are supposed to. The “fisch” silver dollar detector people do not have one for these years, but if using one for what ever reason they pass those tests including the diameter.</p><p>However, in hand they don’t look right and the simple fingertip “ping test” will get you a dull noise every time.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
