No doubled dies, no rpm's, no close or wide AM's. Just a few decent copper cents and one shiny 82 small date zinc of course. 4 beat up what's and 6 or so Canadian. I need to know where people find the good stuff. I have gone through at least 15000 cents since around November is all I want is to find a dd or wide or close AM. Keep looking. I haven't found any yet, but won't quit trying.

You just need to be lucky. Meow found two circulated 1968 d/d pennies in one roll. (different levels of wear, so not from the same person or lot) Yet over 500 rolls later, Meow has yet to find another one. Its what ever luck brings you that day.

And for Meow, only one 2000p WAM after over 700 rolls of pennies.

Looks like a large date. I can't really tell from the photo. 82-D large or small there's no value. Philly small in zinc or copper in mint state, those are keepers.

Meow looks for the pretty 2 vs the ugly 2. So far all 1982d copper pennies found, all ugly 2...…….……………

Im pretty sure its small, gap from rim snowman 8 slim lettering.also 82-D small date copper is mucho valuable from anything ive seen. Didnt know philly were worth kepping i toss them all.I know this one has no real value being zinc, but its shiny so i keep it.

Well that's why one sold for $18,000 or something close as Meow recalls.

Sounds about right. Could I see your 68 d/d's

Meow found those a year ago in very early in Meow's CRH quest. Meow has been CRH for only a little over a year. Meow only has this image saved. Meow could try to find them again in the Cat Hoard and take close up pics maybe later.

The best penny Meow ever found was a BU R/B 1960 d/d CRH. WIN_20180827_14_56_51_Pro.jpg WIN_20180810_03_02_00_Pro.jpg

Yes this photo is clearer. I did see the snowman 8, but I couldn't tell about the 2.

That 60 is super cool, I hope I can someday find some. Other two I can't really see. Thank you for sharing.

Oh no! Meow could only find one of the two 1968 d/d pennies. Meow would have sworn to have stashed them both in the same place in the Cat hoard. But anyway, Meow has just taken a close up of the one Meow did find. Meow thinks this is the worse conditioned one. The one Meow cant find is much nicer that this one. This is a close up pic of the one on the left. WIN_20190501_14_34_57_Pro.jpg

I actually hoard all my change.

But I don't actually look at much. I don't collect modern (anything newer than 1920ish) cents, or nickels or dimes. I separate quarters from pre1998 vs modern and those go into containers. half dollars just stacked ....

sooner or later I'll make a nice copper sword out of some of them. :)
I do have a nice 1955 DD, 1970 DD, etc but those are slabbed.

Hmmmm, Meow's wallet does not have the ability to keep all coins. Meow has to recycle them to hopefully find new treasures.
