I recently won a very detailed, possibly my new favorite bronze coin, of this guy...Alexander the great! I may sound like a broken record, but from other coins depicting Alexander, frescos and busts I strongly feel that certainly some of these types are of the living God himself. For me it comes down to two things: 1- The chromagnum brow of Alexander. He has a purpetualy furrowed brow. And I don't think it's due to the worries of being ruler of most of the known world (or due to his massive Macedonian hangover!). He just appears to have high/thick brow bones. (Baaaad movie, I know) 2- Those perpetually almost pursed plump lips. It's like he is constantly saying, "Look out ladies (or Hephaestion;)) these lips are ready for some kisses!" At least those areas, and his hair when applicable, are what make me go, yep, that's the man I named one of my sons after. Am I sold that this coin depicts Alexander III? I'm not. But it's more due to the uniqueness of the coin and the uncertain mint. Anyway, it's listed in the description so I left it. Check him out! [B]Macedonian Kingdom.
