if you don't have any plans on selling your coins, I don't see any problem with the air-tight holders, but I would advise against using them if you plan on selling the coins because some of your customers might want to take them out and since they're very hard to take out, you may have alot of frustrated customers on your hands if you put the coins you plan on selling in the air-tight holders. I personally don't like the air-tight holders because I like the feel of real silver in my hand rather than the plastic coating known as an air-tight holder.
That is a consideration. I did not realize that once they were in the Airtite they cannot easily be taken out. I suppose that's why they call them Airtites... Thanks for telling me . I also like fiddling with my silver, so I have my 90% in a bag, and a Muslim temple token I use silver polish on because I wear it as jewelry...But it seems that more and more these days, investors/collectors are looking for rather pristine coins and bullion if they are new items, and even I appreciate the look of new silver when it is shiny and white. So I am learning to keep my fingers off the new stuff, and try to keep it as nice as I can within reason .
I have had no issue with the black ring air tites and then place them into the tube-tites then stack them in the safe... less room then the red box and the intercept......
