Which storage would your recommend for your Morgan's, Air-Tite or slab. I am considering transferring my Morgan's from uncertified slabs to Air-Tite capsules. Pro's for slabs is that you can label them. Cons is they take up more room.

    Thanks.

I USE THE AIR TITES FOR MY LARGE DOLLAR COINS AND I PUT THEM IN 2X2S WITH LABELS ON THEM. I STORE SOME OF THEM IN SOME EXTRA NGC AND PGCS SLAB BOXES WITH AIR DRY CAPSULES. I SOUNDS LIKE OVER KILL BUT THAT'S ME USING WHAT I HAVE!

I USUALLY USE THE SAME METHOD WITH MY MORGANS, EXCEPT I RUN A STICKY LABEL AROUND THE OUTSIDE TO TRY ANY KEEP IT AIR TITE!:woot:

Make sure the "sticky labels" are Archival quality if you are worried.

    I am sorry,

I like to put my coins in folders,
    As, an experimenting photographer.
they are much easier to photo out of the slab.
Air tites are my second option.

WE ARE TOO FAR AWAY FROM EACHOTHER TO HEAR NORMAL VOLUME.

I like air-tites over the generic slabs.

AIRTITES ARE THE WAY TO GO FOR RAW COINS.

Seriously, all caps is considered rude on the Internet unless there is some reason for it.

I avoid having any one storage system for everything. It's hard to pick just one appropriate one.

    I use:
    Dansco albums
Lighthouse capsules (I don't own even ONE AirTite)
    Cardboard 2x2's
    Saflip 2x2's
    Saflip 2-1/2x2-1/2's
    Slabs from three different companies
A slight smattering of CoinWorld self-slabs
I also have a box of vinyl flips, but use them only for extremely temporary storage or transit.

I just moved, and I calculated what my collection weighs - it's approaching a ton.

I currently use Slabs, Air-Tites, 2x cardboard flips and Quandrum 2x2's. Also, use coin tubes. My Morgan's are in non-certified slabs so I am looking for another way to store them that takes up less room.

Thanks, I forgot the tubes, and I just hauled several dozen across the street at lunch, too.
