Or the exact variant that just happened to me:

In a goal of focusing my collection and adjusting to my shrinking budget, I narrowed my focus to three coins. Of all the coins on my list, these three were by far the most difficult and the most expensive, so it made sense to go after them first.

I then noticed that two of those coins sold for very low prices a few weeks earlier in an auction I participated in! I must've gone through the auction list a dozen times, but I completely missed those two. Of course, in every other auction before and after they went very high...

    I like these much better...

And they do not get rabies like cats.

Plus they eat all the nasty things like ticks.
    Also, America's only marsupial!

We have 3 opossums that visit our back yard and carport nightly. The wife named them Opal, Otis and Patch. I am now the relegated possum feeder. They eat the occasional table scrap but seem to enjoy store bought dry cat food. Patch always eats first, he's the senior.

I watch auction houses like them take bids on old collections of Romans and Greeks and drool.

Look it up. Possums don’t get rabies. :) it is on old wives tale. Since they are a marsupial, their body temps are lower, so they they don’t get it. They also have one of the best immune system out there.
