Or, they may have given up on trying to alter a common date into a 14-D.</p><p><br /></p><p>3. <b>Since when was MS-68 put on a coin? </b>The Mint sure has done more questionable things than I can count but this is definitely not one of them. And it just so happens to be that this coin appears to be cleaned, damaged, and in VF-20 details at best.
