I see a distinct generation gap in this pool. Maybe because the "old fart" category encompasses more years. But the 20-30 category seems to be more prevalent... maybe because we can still see which letters we are pushing on the keyboard. haha!
11-20 group yeah....represent 20 years old (might be celebrating 21st in guantanamo bay ugh) and @ coinmaster1 i have "89" on my name.....
Old enough to be skeptical of people who might ask me such a question. In this day and age, files are being kept on every tidbit of information we volunteer about ourselves.
I agree with the poster who said you should have made a few more categories for 51+. Heck 50 is the new 40 right?! I'm 46 which puts me in the second oldest category, I don't think of myself as old...yet. I'm also encouraged for the hobby of coin collecting to see how many are in the relatively young category of 21-30. Allthough this poll is probably too small to be considered scientific, I think that's still great news for the hobby.
When asking about how many candles they should put on my Birthday cake I respond, just set it on fire......
The more important question would be: ' How many of us were around in 1980 ? ' hmmnnn . . Of course, a totally different picture for the economy back then on the inflation front. Today The Fed is attempting to 'incite' inflationary outcomes . . while denying the evolving reality of it's actions . . especially in commodity and energy prices. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood . . : >) ( Save those banks ! )
