Never collected Afghanistan coin so this is totally out of my field. I only purchased it as it looked like an overstruck coin which is something that I collect. I found the design to be intriguing but haven't quite found anything like this. The seller described it as Civic Copper Balkh AE Falus. Any idea what it is? I'm guessing this was struck around 1830s but can't find the host coin design.
That's a fun coin. Nothing really jumps out of me about the host coin but I'll bet somebody can identify it. Good luck.
