01-10-2010 Dear Colleagues of the Security Engravers Group: The time has come much sooner that what I thought it would. You know what they say about time right?(Use every bit of it to your fullest potential) With the 2009 Presentation's concluded and 2010 underway, it is time for me to step back. Circumstances in which I am not prepared to discuss have prompted my request for New Administrative Support for this Group. It is my sincere wish that this Group be maintained, supported and held in the highest standards of the fine members in which share this unique interest in Banknote Printing, Engraving, Artistic values and Historical background. In the past few weeks I have had 2 members raise their hands in support of this Group. They are USS656 and DaveM. Getting to know these individuals through their post's, their collections and their technical abilities, I nominate these individuals for the continuance of the Security Engravers Vignette Group. It is my belief that the abilities of these two members is more than sufficient to operate and organize the Group Events as the events have been represented in the past. Let me say that Connor1 will always be the originator of this Group and he should always be included in any decisions affecting the Group and how group events transpire moving forward into the future. As for me, well I will be around for sure, but maybe not as much as I once was. It was a real pleasure for me to get the opportunity to work with each of you in the past and I have learned something from all of you in one way or another. I will try to complete my Presentations as I have signed up for and will notify the new Administrators as that time moves forward, closer to my commitment. I have a "Great" respect for you all and continue the Great Work that has been started here. One of the best compliments this Group has received is a Message from Peter (PM'd to me) about reading the Presentations of 2009 and while not completely following along (cuz he's a coin collector) said the presentations were full of Great information, so much so that he was going to read more into them. "Bravo Peter" we need your support as well. So I give you all my sincere regards and I hope to be present more in the future providing things work out that way. As mentioned I will be around, just not as noticable as in the past. Thanks for all your support! :thumb: RickieB
