I had been on codeine for the bad days, but when the government saw fit to restrict all opioids, I was dropped like a hot rock. Take as needed, never gave me more than half a dozen. When I was diagnosed with incurable cancer, the doctor told me it was like winning the &quot;golden ticket&quot; and I could have as much as I wanted, and stronger if I so desired.</p><p>I&#039;ve given up alcohol, but still rely on my codeine to get by, day by day.</p><p>I admire all those that can kick those habits and do without.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
