With nearly 200 rulers, many of whom were quite obscure, few collectors get very far. As far as I know only one person managed to (nearly) complete the set and this was well before the digital age. For this reason many Roman coin collectors cut back to a more realistic goal such as the "12 Caesars" type set or cutting out the usurpers. As with modern coins, others prefer to focus on just one or a handful of people or to a narrow time frame or to a theme such as animals, architecture, etc.</p><p><br /></p><p>I know we all have way too many coins to post in a thread. So please share your collections <b>goals </b>and what made this particular route click with you.
