When you're all done, I sure hope you flush that sink drain with water for 5 or 10 minutes. If any acetone fumes sit in the drains of your house and evaporate - if they hit the pilot light on your hot water heater or furnace - just might go BOOM !
Yes....the drain was flushed with alot of water after that. I'm not one to want to find out how loud that BOOM would be Speedy
Um, remember how we use acetone to get rid of PVC residue? It will also eat through the PVC pipes commonly used in hosehold plumbing. Probably not a good idea to flush it down the sink unless it's heavily diluted. Me, I feed it to the weeds in my lawn...
