Funny you should mention it Jim, I suggested using a Water-Pic (with distilled water of course) for removing ordinary dirt some years ago, right here on Coin Talk. Never knew anyone who actually tried it though.
OK, let me try this just one more time... Doug: I asked for a less toxic alternative, not a non-toxic alternative. A less toxic alternative would of course include both non-toxic and toxic alternatives. Here, let's talk horticulture: http://www.vet.purdue.edu/toxic/bytox1.htm. Do you understand, now? Tom: He wasn't evading anything. It was just a misunderstanding. :headbang: Finally...as the opportunity does present itself...Dorothy Parker, after having been intellectually-challenged by a reporter to use a sentence with the term horticulture in it: "You can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think."
Doug, it might have done a better job, except to hold it over the coin areas that needed it, I had to use a loupe and the water spray quickly cover it and me. I was shooting blind, and decided it was a wash Jim
eddie, to the best of my knowledge, there is NOTHING that exist, that will do the job, and is less toxic - OR - non toxic. Now, if ya want - I can say NO! just one more time.
Tom: He wasn't evading anything. It was just a misunderstanding How silly of me to percieve it that way..looking for a response via actual written words. My apologies:rolling:
Doug...in all fairness...I said "NO!" was a responsive answer the minute you said it. See your post 96 and my post 97 if you have any doubts on that. It was what you said before that that was what I was trying to get across to you was non-responsive. Just to set the record squeaky straight on that; OK?
Yeah, I know what you're saying, and you're right. But life is short, Tom. I hope you know what I'm saying.
I rather use vinegar in a good italian salad instead ,and i don't believe in cleaning any coin. never Paul Punicater
