Agreed. Now if I might add that if the OP is planning on using CL as a means of acquiring his "inventory", he needs to be smart about it. While I cannot speak for things in Southern NJ, elsewhere CL can be a shark tank and someone less than familiar with the material they seek chum in the water. This is not to say that CL may not offer fine opportunities, but take everything with a grain of salt, don't pretend to be something you're not, and approach every potential deal with care.
The guy has 3 of these sets and I paid $75 for all of them. It does not seem that he knows about the accented hair. I asked him to give me pictures of the other sets and he had said that they were the same as this one. That does not mean all of them have accented hair but if they do I will have a good profit margin.
What do you mean by you "paid" while going on to speak of photos and saying that "if" they are of the accented hair variety....? If you've paid this person, you should have the sets in-hand and know if they (and/or if any) are the variety or not.
basically we had set the deal if the other 2 sets are exactly like this one. otherwise I would not have offered $75.
As much as I hate to say it, without a change in course and/or at least accepting that a few of us are trying to help him, I can see lots of hard lessons coming in the future. "Offered" or "paid", Josh? Come on here... stop dancing around and just answer the question.
ok I will try to be more specific from now on. He accepted my offer of $75 I will meet him in a few weeks.
I know you guys are trying to help me and I greatly appreciate it. It is one of the reasons I like cointalk so much. A lot of you have steered me in the right direction and I could not be more grateful.
$25 for a 64 proof set is pretty reasonable. Good Luck but I think its been shown that the three sets are not identical. But then the seller may just think they all look "identical". But I need to ask, why on earth would the seller accept $25 apiece for 3 sets if the initial listing was asking $59?
