Im not to worried about spell check as long as its not to far off and or doesnt sound to silly that it distracts from the point being made but i know some of you are touchy about that oh well your fingers can type out some weird scat when your mind is thinking ahead of what to write next or if you edit a sentence out of a paragraph and end up messing up the grammer of the rest of the sentence then you have to change the whole thing and so on ass you all should know. I just have an itchy post finger sometimes and click post as soon as i type the last word like im going to get a quick response or something i should know that i have time to proof read but i told my fingers to type think but then i see they typed thing oh ferainkg wlel

I would agree with what you said, but then we would both be wrong.

If gas and food money is tight but you can be spend $ to be up at 430AM drinking then maybe AA is a better place to be. Just sayin. Normal worn and/or damaged coins can look like errors through beer goggles :)

Good luck in your search, and personal situation.

So, does looking for and collecting error coins make you crazy or do you have to be crazy in order to start looking for and collecting error coins? :p

I've been crazy my entire life, but that doesn't mean that I see the Shroud of Turin in every beat-up, buried or heavily-circulated coin that comes my way.

It doesn't look that beat-up to me.

It doesn't look like it has been buried.

It doesn't look like it has been heavily-circulated.

Don't get your quarters all stacked up. I was just having a little fun with you.

And, I'm not trying to get the OP all riled up, either. It's just that some of the less experienced error hunters who read threads like this will tend to argue with some of the opinions of more experienced collectors. Granted, a mistake can be made here or there, but let's face it, most of those opinions are often based on inadequate photos.

I agree, I know I don't have the kind of money to buy the equipment to take photos the experts have, thats for sure, the one thing I've learned is show your coins to people that know more then you, everything is a learning experience, local coin shows in my neighborhood, (michigan) is a good place to start

just list them in ebay. start out at face value and see what these one-of-a-kind 'errors' goes for.
