Abe is crying! Found this error recently and just wanted to put a little humor to it with all due respect to Mr. President Lincoln...
Some of us do, yes, but there are a few who seem to think it perfectly fine (not Paul) to quote best-case bidiot values as if generally accepted across the board. While no harm may be intended, they need to realize eBay is not the center of the universe, and in many ways they very well may be doing more harm than good for the simple fact that for a lot of junk, eBay is the only real outlet, and that no one is ever going to pay (or even buy) anywhere near the claimed values in any other setting. It's one thing to simply collect and enjoy such coins, but something else altogether to buy with the belief that if/when the time comes to sell, they'll be able to do so easily and while recouping a reasonable percentage of their original investment.
Well, at least it is humorous -- much more than a bubble on Lincoln's skull which has resulted in some posters announcing the discovery of an "assassination penny."
