Checking out this ‘65 quarter and it appears the eagle’s left wing (right side of coin) is not complete. The top of the wing tip disappears behind the sprig but does not reappear where I would expect the flow of the wing would place it. I included a photo of another quarter and the wing tip is fuller in appearance. Am I wrong on this? If not what would cause this?
I will give you an answer only if you respond to the other threads you created recently which we have given you answers to A simple good to know or thank you will suffice.
Haha there you are! I'm just messing with you. I answered your past 2 threads and you didnt even respond. You probably busy huh?
Chip, the mintage on the first year of clad quarters is: 1,819,717,540. That’s more than 1 truckload. You are probably seeing a form of die deterioration...imo...Spark
More likely is I don’t always check the replies to my myriad list of questions. Because, yes, I am busy but also having a few health issues and I’m trying to do a final editing on a book I’m writing, the wife just had a birthday, we just had our 44th anniversary and the to-do list and priorities keeps going. Sorry, don’t mean to be rude so thanks for the reminder.
