A weird hole in a 1965 quarter

    A friend wanted me to see what this is. We both are thinking it is an error, but we decided to let me look at it here to see if it was PMD. Thoughts?

    Someone punched something into the quarter.

    It's damaged, and not an error of any kind or type....sorry

    PMD, post mint damage, not an error. PMD is whatever happens to a coin AFTER it has left the mint.
