thanks I just thought for some viewers who don't realize how small a 9mm coin is, it might help to have a comparison to appreciated the smallness of the engraving. I don't understand how they did it, but it is truly amazing.
I think JA's coin is quite amazing in that all of the design is on both sides in spite of such an irregular flan. very nice!
It's only missing part of the K. I think the irregular flan is what kept the cost down to something I could afford, but as I said in an earlier post, it doesn't bother me in the least.
Huh, well I am pretty sure that JA actually snapped his coin with needle-nose pliers just so it would look kinda cool ... => yah, I think JA is "that guy"
Heh - the only think I've snapped is slabs. I would like to know something about the previous owner though. The only thing I could find on Sidney Mygind was that he sold some coins to the British Museum.
